Donkey Kong 64 is NintendoCapriSun's 59th Let's Play. Although that Donkey Kong Country 3 : Dixie's Double Trouble wasn't exactly finished at the time, on Sept 26 2012, NCS decided to go ahead and post the first episode to a long awaited Let's Play requested from the fans : Donkey Kong 64.
The let's play ended on January 28, 2013 with a total of 73 episodes. Bonus episodes are planned such as the "edited out" part where he tried to figure out what to do with the 8-bit game Jetpac (Cranky's game for Rareware Coin).
Part 44, titled "This Game Will Self-Destruct", had almost put the game on indefinite hiatus.
NCS did manage to fix the aforementioned issue in Part 44 - however, from Part 45 through Part 47, the sound failed to record and in these 3 episodes were replaced by random music from Donkey Kong Country 2.
Starting from Creepy Castle (part 45), the game was semi-blind only helped by a guide if help was needed.
The last boss had fans raging for NCS for his stupidity despite the fans wanting him to do it blind to begin with. NCS explained, in the last episode, his thought process.
NCS didn't know for the whole game that Snide was also on DK Island until... episode 63.
It took NCS an avalanche of comments to make him realize what he had to do in the Fungi Forest lobby...
NCS never figured out he could do the charge attack in the Arena battles to get rid of the "blueprint guys" in one hit. Instead, he kept on jumping on the ennemies head continiously...
It took the end of this LP to decide himself to finish Donkey Kong Country 3... which was on hiatus for four months when he finished the game. There was literally five to ten minutes left to the game.
